The auction is headlined by a striking gelatin silver print by Ansel Adams, a pencil signed lithograph from MC Escher, the complete “Alice in Wonderland” folio by Salvador Dali, and a drawing by Emil Filla. The auction also includes work by Theodore Earl Butler, Raoul Middlemen, Peter Max, California artists including Frank Harmon Myers, Franz Arthur Bischoff, Mary DeNeale Morgan, William Adam, Albert Thomas DeRome, Horatio Nelson Poole, and Ed Mell, a selection of vintage movie and television posters, paintings by Irving Amen, photographs by Peter Lik and A. Furniture will be featuring three amazing pieces of furniture by Wendell Castle, who is referred to as the “the father of the art furniture movement.” A large metal and wood demilune console by metal sculptor Albert Paley. A Rare American House of Representatives oak desk. Period and reproduction furniture by Ralph Lauren, Potthast, Kittinger, Hickory Chair, and Century. Modern and contemporary furniture by Arhaus, Herman Miller, Jinn Juhl, Natuzzi, Thomas Moser, and McGuire. Also included in this auction, an impressive collection of guitars, both electric and acoustic, as well as drum sets, amps, and collectible music memorabilia. Decorative Arts will be featuring part one of a large collection of Steuben from a Baltimore collector including Steuben, Frederick Carder, in addition to Hawkes. Also featured, Chinese and Japanese scroll panels and porcelain including a selection of blue and white porcelain vessels, a Chinese dragon and chrysanthemum Dayazhai style vase, brush pots, hat stands, Japanese Satsuma, and more. Crystal includes Lalique, Baccarat, and a Daum "Roses" crystal bowl. Bronze sculptures including a Wendell Castle "Angel" miniature chair and Vienna cold painted bronze dog band. Porcelain will feature a beautiful vintage Irish Belleek oval covered basket and a selection of Herend including Rothschild Bird, Queen Victoria, and Chinese Bouquet Rust. Other items featured include lighting and vintage neon signs, gilt eagle wall brackets, and a vintage dollhouse.
