(American, 1814-1893). 1864, "H.K. Brown and His Friends, Newburgh, New York", oil on canvas, signed and dated "Louis Land 1864" lr, 18.1 x 30.1 in., framed.
Condition
Condition commensurate with age. Frame rubbing with minor attendant inpainting at upper left edge. A few tiny areas of inpaint near chimney. Area of paint loss (1/4 x 1/8 inch) at right edge in sky and tiny loss at lower left corner. Moderate craquelure and stretcher marks.
