19th century; probably Carrara marble, carved in the round, with scrolling foliage throughout, the arms modeled as female figures with flowing acanthus torso, descending to lion's paw feet, back withcrest encompassing a lion and extending ribbons, 30 1/4 in. H, 26 1/2 in. W, approximately 20 in. D.
