Marked on lock plate 1864, Bridesburg with eagle mark, barrel flat marked 161, 2981 with proof marks on side. Butt plate marked U.S., 73, each barrel band marked with U, 40" barrel. 2 proof marks on stock opposite lock plate, metal work possibly cleaned.

Functions well, some corrosion present.
