THE HOLY BIBLE, TRANSLATED FROM THE LATIN VULGATE (Philadelphia: Carey, Stewart & Co., 1790) 2 vols. in 1; 4to, full sheep with English style paneled blind tooling. Lacks most of the title page, and no title page for the second volume, as issued; some other losses to leaves at beginning and end. With a few notes inside the covers and fairly full family record, 1752 - 1841. This was published in an edition of less than 500 copies. In the 1950s only about 35 copies were known to exist.
