Description
1866-S Liberty Gold $2.5 NGC MS62. From the fabulous collection of Baltimore financier Louis Eliasberg, this coin has the flash and appeal often found in that collection. Complete with strong almost blazing luster, one wonders why CAC didn't label it. The reverse has a weak central strike and multiple clash marks. Usually only found in VF-XF condition, this MS62 only trails one NGC63 and PCGS has 2-62s but none of them has the Eliasberg provenance like this beauty with original orange cold colors
Condition
NGC slab 7
