1869 Liberty Gold $5 NGC AU58 An exceptionally rare coin with a mintage of only 1728, it is tough at every grade level. Our AU58 is easily in the Top 10 census at both grading services. Aside from some weakness on the eagle's neck, it has a very strong strike. Reverse has nice coppery-brown toning around the rims and both sides exhibit semi-reflective surfaces.
