Comments added on 5/14/2021: The piece does not have any apparent flaws to report other than age appropriate areas of slight discoloration. There is some wear to the matting and the frame. The piece belongs to the niece of a former Dean of Virginia Commonwealth University. Both parties wish to remain anonymous, however, the aunt was one of the first African American deans and was heavily involved in the arts.
