Henry Bouquet (1719-1766, Swiss-born soldier, Lt. Col. of the Royal American Regiment during French & Indian War and Pontiac's War) handwritten document, signed, with clear impression of signet, dated July 16, 1763; 1/2 p., large folio, 15 x 9 3/8 in., with integral cover sheet, bearing recording dockets; grants power of attorney to Jonathan Hager of Frederick Co., Md., to administer his farm, Great Meadows, Enlarged (reportedly near Antietam) in cooperation with Thomas Willing of Philadelphia; witnessed by William Plumsted and T. Basset.
