Samuel Huntington (1731-1796, CT Signer of the Declaration of Independence) fragment of a deed for land in Norwich, CT, sold by Jabez and John Post to Samuel Huntington, Jan. 8, 1764, in which Huntington names himself three times, signed by the two posts and witnessed by cousins Elijah and Benjamin Huntington; endorsed twice on verso, by Coram Simon Tracy as notary and Benjamin Huntington again as Town Clerk; the lower half of a folio sheet.
