George Hampton Crosman (c.1798-1882) two Letters, signed, as Major and Quartermaster, dated at Philadelphia, comprising: 1) An order to send Horstmann & Sons, eagle and ring insignia to decorate an order of pompoms, February 21, 1856, 1 p., 4to; 2) An order to transfer clothing and other accoutrements from the Schuylkill Arsenal to Watertown, May 1, 1856, 1 p., 4to; Together with an order in Crosman's name for a similar transfer of clothing and accouterments to the recruiting office in New York City, May 10, 1856.
