Round barrel with two sights and various proof marks, 20 1/2 in. L.; flint lock, the plate marked "GR" beneath crown and "TOWER;" walnut three-quarter stock, marked "B&P" and "R. Groom" and various proof marks; brass trigger guard (engraved "G / 70"), butt plate and patch box; iron sling attachment on left side; swivel-mounted ramrod; 36 in. L. overall.
