About 1770: round barrel with clear proof marks, 12 in. L.; flint ignition with flat hammer, the lock plate stamped "Tower" and "GR" beneath crown; walnut stock with brass pommel and trigger guard, iron waist bar with crown stamp; ramrod with brass tip; 19 1/4 in. L. overall.
