Late 19th Century: soft tanned suede, almost entirely covered with seed beads, attached with sinew; 9 3/4 H., excluding strap and fringe.
Condition
Leather sound overall, but with slight tearing at top of strap. Some bead losses, especially on strap
Provenance
From the collection of Col. William H. Love, late 19th century (served in 9th Minn. Vols. in Civil War), and descended in his family.
