Alexandra Aleksandrovna Exter (Russian, 1882-1949). Oil on board, the names of cities Kiev, Paris, and Moscow written in Cyrillic and Latin script, signed "A.Exter" lr, sight size: 13 x 10 5/8 in., framed under glass.

Comments added on 8/19/2022: The piece has the following imperfections. 1) At ul and ur corners it appears the piece was pinned or tacked to a surface, perhaps an easel. Photos of holes below. 2) The edges of the pieces show age appropriate wear. Might be canvas attached to board but difficult to be sure as it has not been removed from the frame. 3) The white lines and diagonals are painted thickly. Perhaps with pallet knife. Thus, there are uneven areas, thicker areas, etc., but impossible to know if this was original and/or intentional.
