Description
Gebruder Friedlander, Berlin, late 19th-early 20th century, 800 silver standard. In two parts, in the Louis XV style, comprising a sculptural candlestick with weighted standard, decorated with foliate bordered cartouches, with conforming insert of five scrolling candle arms, and a central light, each with urn-form nozzle, sticks are 13 in. H, candelabra are 23 1/2 in. H overall, approx. 12 1/2 in. W, 143.8 ozt. total weight
Condition
Update 7/18/23: The candelabra are not as crooked as they appear in the photo. One stick is slightly crooked. The weight in the description is the total weight for both candelabra. One stick with a split near the foot at the bottom of the standard. The same stick doesn't sit quite straight. Each standard is weighted near the bottom of the standard with cement. One of the candle inserts is weighted with cork
