Mappin & Webb, Sheffield, 1918 and 1919, stamped underside "Importe d'Angleterre." In the Neo-Classical style. Five pieces including a coffee pot, teapot, creamer, sugar, and hot water kettle-on-stand. The pots with treen handles and finials, 97.1 ozt. total weight
Condition
English silver is sterling standard. Coffee pot: 85 c/l capacity, 10 in. H, 22.4 ozt. total weight. Handle is tight at the joints. Teapot: 85 c/l capacity, 6 1/2 in. H, 19.7 ozt. total weight. Handle is a little loose at the joints. Creamer: 5 5/8 in. H overall, 6.8 ozt., a tiny crease on one side. Sugar: 5 1/4 in. H overall, 9.3 ozt. Kettle-on-stand: 85 c/l capacity, 13 in. H, 38.9 ozt. The burner has been replaced with a George IV piece from 1826 but fits in the stand, and has some wear along the foot rim. Each piece is in overall good condition. The treen handles and finials with wear and some cracks consistent with age and material. There is no monogram. There are no large dents, splits or repairs
