Comprising two chunks of copper ore from Grasberg Mine, Puncak Jaya Mountain, Mimika Regency, Papua, Indonesia, with iridescent metallic crystals in quartzite, the larger, 3 5/8 x 2 3/8 x 2 7/8 in.; and a piece of spodumene, lithium aluminum inisilicate, from vicinity of Charlotte, NC, 3 x 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 in.
Provenance
From a private collection. The copper ore collected by a family member in 1970s. Lithium ore collected in the field, 2010.
