Comprising five items, including a group of Calcite crystals on Dolomite, Elmwood Mine, Smith Co., TN, 5 1/4 x 3 3/4 x 1 1/4 in.; a calcite crystal from Howard-Montgomery Quarry, Howard Co., MD, 3/4 in. L.; a piece of fluorescent white calcite, from Terlingua, Bewster Co., TX, about 1 in. L.; a calcite blade with Marcasite inclusions, Faraday Mine, Ontario, Canada; Okenite and Gyrolite, from Pune, Maharashtra, India, approx. 3/4 in. L.; and a mass of slightly yellow Calcite crystals on matrix, unknown origin, 4 3/8 x 2 3/8 x 2 3/4 in.
Condition
The large piece of calcite is rather worn
Provenance
From a private collection. The first item from Collector's Choice, Houston, 2006. The rest from an old family collection and from a vintage collection purchased at auction in 2021.
