Choice medium brown surfaces with nice details, stars are mostly intact and LIBERTY is nicely preserved with die lines or clash marks in between ERTY. Diagnostic markers are a small depression in the field before her nose and some crumbling of the die at 5:30 Reverse and in the lower reverse leaves on the left area above the head seems to have been cleaned of corrosion and then smoothed and a few other areas might have been smoothed as well. Overall impression is that of a very nice Classic Head Cent and it is so difficult to find them this nice even if the removal of corrosion helped the appearance. The planchets came from England that year and were affected by the salt-spray and not many survived the voyage in great shape
