South American, unmarked, 18th-19th century. Each incense burner modeled as a turkey, the hinged body with single compartment interior and pierced cover, the whole on a round base, raised on three feet, nearly identical with small differences, 9 in. to 10 1/4 in. H, 6 1/2 in. W, 4 1/2 in. D, 34 ozt.
Condition
Tests for 800-900 silver standard. The wings are not articulated. The interior with wear from use. Each hinge with replaced copper pin. The bases with wear and spots of pitting. Without large dents or splits on the wings. With some small dings and wear from age and use
