Description
All in 800 silver standard, including a long oval dresser box, with repousse figural landscape decoration 1 5/8 in. H, 7 3/8 in. W, 2 3/8 in. D, 7.1 ozt.; a similar oval dresser box, possibly by George Roth & Co., 2 1/8 in. H, 5 7/8 in. W, 4 1/4 in. D, 10.65 ozt.; and a basket, by Storck & Sinsheimer, 1874-1926, in the Neoclassical style, square with wavy rim, the reticulated body of bellflowers, applied garland, and trailing floral border, centered with a wreath, 2 1/8 in. H, 8 1/2 in. Sq., 9.45 ozt.
Condition
Long oval box with rubbed decoration consistent with handling and use. The rim of the cover with warping. Spots of pitting. One hinge is broken and requires a repair. Wear on the underside and along the bottom rim. The oval box with minor wear to the decoration. The cover rim with one small area of warping. Tiny spots of pitting. The basket with a tiny split at the rim, and tiny spots of pitting
