George Washington (1729-1799, 1st President of the United States, Commander in Chief of the Continental Army) Part-Printed Discharge, Nov. 3, 1783, signed by Washington, John Trumbull, Jr. (1740-1809, Washington's aide-de-camp, politician); and Richard Fullerton (1757-1792, Assistant Adjutant General); issued to John Hutcheans (or Hutchins, a private in Capt. Bankson's Company, 1st Pennsylvania Regt., who enlisted in May, 1777, and served for the duration of the war); typeset document, with individual details added in pen, 10 5/8 x 7 1/2 in., framed, with glass on both sides
