Gold Dinar of al-Mansur, born Abu Ja'far 'Abd Allah ibn Muhammad al Mansur, he was the second Caliph of the Abassid dynasty which ruled from 750-1258 CE and his personal reign was 754-775. The currency was Gold Dinars and Silver Dirhams. This is a slightly clipped gold dinar weighing 3.48 grams and is about 1,266 years old. He ruled from 136-158 AH and the date seems to be AH 144 but the edges make it hard to completely define. Islamic Statement of faith also on the coin.
