An official American League baseball manufactured by Reach, signed by 22 players all around, including the sweet spot, signed Yogi Berra and Mickey Mantle (likely a clubhouse signature); the maker's logo, Bob Richardson, Bill Gardner, Hector Lopez, and Roger Maris; opposite side, Johnny Blanchard, Rollie Sheldon, Elston Howard, Luis Arroyo, and another, unidentified; tongue to left of American League imprint, Joe De Maestri, Jack Reed, Earl Torgeson, Clete Boyer, Ralph Terry, and Bob Hale; and the tongue to left of the league logo, Tex Clevenger, Jim Coates, Tony Kubek, Hal Reniff, and Bud Daley. Together with a small selection of Boy Scouts and sports ephemera and other memorabilia.

After careful examination and comparison, we feel that the Mantle signature is likely executed by an assistant. The signatures quite fresh and bright overall, in blue ink; the surface of the ball protected with a thin coat of shellac.
