Produced by Franklin Mint for the Judaic Heritage Society from August 1971 to July 1976 - It is a very rare set! It has 120 proof Solid Bronze medals While many appear to be silver proofs, X-Ray Florescent testing showed bronze. These are both volumes 1 and 2, with 60 medals. Vol I starts with "The Arrival of the 23" to New Amsterdam in 1654 and Vol II ends with general themes like Fine Arts, Literature, Sports, others. Albert Einsten and many famous 20th century Americans are in the set
Condition
The first two pages of Vol 1 are wonderfully toned shades of gold and brown. If they were coins it would be called Album Toning
