1775-1780: Broad, strongly curved, single-edge blade with wide fuller, 30 1/2 in. L.; iron hilt with stirrup-shaped knuckle bow, horn-wrapped wooden grip; 35 1/2 in. L. overall. With black leather scabbard and linen ribbon belt, fitted with an oval brass cross belt plate. Accompanied by a mahogany case.

From the estate of a Maryland collector. Purchased from Guthman Americana, 1983, who stated the item was purchased near Allentown, PA.
