Partly composed of Revolutionary War era French parts: unmarked round barrel, 43 in. L.; flintlock mechanism with plate marked Ketland; curly maple full stock with three barrel bands, long iron trigger guard, and butt plate; the stock inlaid with a small silver heraldic eagle on the side of the butt and a silver shield-shaped thumb rest; 58 1/2 in. L. overall.
Condition
The stock broken and repaired at the breech of the barrel
