Description
Lent to and displayed at the National Portrait Gallery for Bicentennial exhibit in 1976. Painted wood with brass tack decoration, with early ropes and leather adjustments; 17 1/8 in. H., 16 1/2 in. Diam. Together with a pair of turned maple drumsticks, 18 in. L., probably 19th century.
Condition
Some of the cords fraying; vellum shows some insect damage
